We Are Baby Kiddo
Thank you so much for choosing Baby Kiddo as your family photographer! Being parents ourselves, we know how quickly time flies when you have a young family. Your little one goes from baby to kiddo in a blink of an eye. We capture your family as it is – sweet, silly, loud, chaotic – in a location dear to your hearts. The art we make together during your session is a physical reminder of a time that will, too soon, be a distant memory.
Trust the Process
Yes, it is a process and it should be! Family photography is a big investment and we want you to feel confident about the money you’re spending with us. We’re going to walk you through this step-by-step, but if you still have questions by the end of this page, feel free to email us directly before booking.
Before we dive in, here are a few general things to note:
Portrait sessions typically last 60-90 minutes. Newborn sessions can last up to 2 hours to allow for feeding, changing, and soothing.
Travel within Philadelphia County is included in your session fee. Travel to Bucks, Burlington, Camden, Chester, Gloucester, Delaware, and Montgomery Counties is $50. For rates outside our service area, email us.
We will collect money from you twice: first when you sign up for a session and again when you choose your product collection.
All session and collection fees are subject to local sales tax.
The Process
1. SCHEDULE YOUR SHOOT
The first step in the process is to schedule your shoot. Our calendar only goes to 6 weeks out to allow us to plan for fun studio events and pop-up portrait sessions. If the date you’d like is further than 6 weeks from now, follow us online or subscribe to our newsletter to find out when our books open to future appointments.
2. PAY SESSION FEE
After you schedule your shoot, you’ll be directed to PayPal where you’ll pay your session fee. This covers the time we'll spend shooting, your styling consultation, and our time editing photos, but it does not include any images.

3. MEET YOUR STYLIST
Once your session is booked, our virtual stylist will reach out to you via email to help you choose outfits for your shoot. A few options will be presented to you through a private Pinterest board. This service is complimentary, but if you’d prefer to dress yourselves, that’s totally fine. You can opt out of the consultation when you submit your initial contact information.
4. SHOOT YOUR SESSION
This is the fun part! We’ll confirm our session a week before to ensure everyone is feeling their best. Our approach is very laid back and casual. Your kiddos might throw tantrums. Maybe they decide to cut their own bangs the night before the shoot. It happens. We’re capturing your real life, whatever that looks like.
5. PICK YOUR COLLECTION
About two weeks after your session, you’ll receive a slideshow of our favorite images. Once you view it, you’ll have 24 hours to decide which product collection best suits your family. We have three options that include a mix of digital files and print credits.
6. RECEIVE YOUR PRODUCTS
Your full image gallery will be unlocked after we receive payment for your collection and you’ll be able to redeem your print credits then. All print orders can be placed through your gallery. If you choose to purchase an album, you have the option to design it yourself or we can do it for you for a $99 design fee.

The sound of your baby cooing. The echo of your kiddo singing the Moana soundtrack around your house. The frustrated sigh, turned laughter between partners wrangling young children. Photos can’t capture that, but video can. A Day in The Life films are up to two minutes long, set to licensed music of our choosing, and can be added to any session for $995.
